If you’re on the prowl for a lightweight laptop with a vibrant touch screen and detachable keyboard, you’ve come to the right place. Best Buy’s currently selling the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 laptop for $999.99, which is a colossal $540 off of the original price. If that’s not a killer deal, then I’m not sure what is.
The device weighs just shy of two pounds, making it incredibly travel-friendly. This laptop also comes with the detachable keyboard, which really sweetens the pot because you don’t have to pay extra for a standalone accessory. You can even use the screen portion of the laptop like a tablet for those times when you want to ditch the keyboard.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 comes with an Intel Core i5-1235U CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage. That’s plenty of power for browsing the web, watching Netflix, writing papers, slinging spreadsheets, and so on. Basically, it’s designed with everyday tasks in mind. The PixelSense display is on the smaller side at 13-inches, but that’s not unusual for a lightweight tablet with a detachable keyboard. The display has a resolution of 2880×1920, which looks incredibly sharp on a device this size.
According to reviews on Best Buy, it’s also a fantastic device for taking notes and you can expect lightning-quick response times. Microsoft’s Surface Pro is the best-known detachable keyboard laptop for a reason. For over $500 off, this is a phenomenal deal. Don’t miss out.
