If you’re looking to pick up a powerful laptop with Nvidia graphics inside, you’ve come to the right place. Best Buy’s selling the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for just $999.99, which is a massive savings of $600. Not only is this rig rocking an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, but it also weighs under four pounds, which is considerably lightweight for a gaming laptop.
To throw in some context here, most gaming laptops tip the scales at five or six pounds. The moonlight white color scheme is also attractive and a welcome departure from the harsh red accents of past gaming laptops. Various iterations of the ROG Zephyrus G14 have sat atop our list of the best gaming laptops ever since the notebook’s inception years ago.
Underneath the hood, you’ll find an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS CPU as well as the aforementioned Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. As for how the hardware impacts performance, the Zephyrus should zoom right through most games on the High or Ultra graphics settings. This machine is also packing 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The only real drawback is the amount of RAM, which is pretty light for a gaming rig, as we typically like to see at least 16GB of RAM.
Aside from that minor nitpick, this is a great deal, especially for $600 off. You won’t find a gaming laptop this well-made going for this cheap very often.
