The Alienware AW3423DW is still one of the most popular OLED monitors on the market more than a year after its introduction, thanks to a combination of great pictures, features, and (at least relative to the competition) price. But even with a slightly cheaper model introduced later that year, Dell still only offers the OLED panel upgrade in a 34-inch ultrawide form factor. That changes at CES 2024, where the company is showing off new QD-OLED monitors in 27-inch and 32-inch flavors.
The 27-inch AW2725DF might be the go-to choice for eSports fans, despite its smaller size and QHD (2560×1440) resolution. With a much higher 360Hz refresh rate and .03ms grey-to-grey response time, it’s built for competitive gaming from the ground up. (Notably, that’s not quite as fast as we’ve seen for a gaming OLED at CES.) While it’s lacking Nvidia G-Sync (which hardly matters at these speeds anyway), it packs AMD Feesync Premium Pro and VESA Adaptive Sync for perfectly smooth playback.

Around back you’ll find double DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.1 ports, a single USB-C 3.2 port on the bottom (not for video) along with one USB-A, plus two more A ports on the rear. Dell is particularly proud of its hexagonal base, allowing esports players to jam their keyboards in at odd angles.

The more dramatic of the new monitor is the AW3225QF, a full 32-inch, 4K resolution beast. With a subtle 1700R curve on the super-thin panel and eArc for directly connecting Atmos speakers, this thing is designed for immersive experiences, complete with Nvidia G-Sync to keep everything super smooth. It’s even packing dedicated modes for consoles, for those who like to keep their (ahem) lesser gaming devices close by.

While it’s not quite as fast as the 27-inch display, at 240Hz it’ll still push your PC to its limits on the latest games. Brightness lands at 1000 nits at peak, same as the smaller display. On the rear it offers two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 input.
The AW2725DF will go on sale January 11th for $899.99 USD. The AW3225QF will launch the same day for $1199.99.
